Candle & Melt Care
SOY WAX
All our candles and melts are made from Coconut Soy Wax. Coconut Soy wax is made from soy beans & coconut wax and is environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
Our coconut soy candles give maximum scent throw and minimal smoke.
FIRST BURN
When first lighting your candle ensure the wick has been trimmed to approximately 5mm.
When lighting your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the glass vessel. This will create what is called a burn memory which promotes an even burn every time you light the candle. Another benefit is that it ensures maximum fragrance.
BURNING YOUR CANDLE
Each time you burn your candle ensure the wick has been trimmed to approximately 5mm to prevent your candle from smoking and your wick from mushrooming.
It's best not to blow out your candle after use as this will create soot and smoke, we recommend using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
Ensure the wick is at least 1cm long before lighting
Once the wax has got within 1cm of the base of the jar/tin stop using it.
Burn the candles for a minimum of 2 or 3 hours at a time, recommended maximum 4 hours
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Do not leave your candle unattended.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours.
Keep candles out of direct sunlight and away from hot temperatures.
Do not leave your candle unattended or near children.
WAX MELT CARE & INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure your oil burner is on a safe and stable surface away from children, flammables and wind.
Make sure you extinguish the flame on the tea light when leaving the room.
The melt pod will solidify after each use. You can re-use each pod for up to 10hrs burn time.
Once the fragrance in the pod is gone it will need to be replaced. You can easily do this by letting the pod cool and solidify, place the oil burner in the freezer for a short amount of time and this will release the pod.
